Friday 05/07/2024 A ridge of high pressure will offer drier conditions for most areas through Sunday, although rather cloudy. Best of brightness over southern England. Through the afternoon expect thick cloud and outbreaks of rain over northwest Scotland and northwest Ireland, but turning drier later. Maximum temperatures at 12-14C over Scotland, 16C over Ireland, and 18-20C for much of England.
Saturday 06/07/2024 A rather cloudy day with showers or longer spells of rain, this perhaps heavy over Ireland. Becoming drier in the afternoon from the west. Maximum temperatures at 14-16C over most parts, but up to 22C for the southeast.
Sunday 07/07/2024 A mostly dry morning with a few showers in the north. Showers becoming more frequent and developing more widely through the afternoon, with a longer spell of rain over Ireland and Scotland later. Best of the dry and bright conditions over Southern England. Tops of 14-16C for most parts, but 19C for the southeast.
Monday 08/07/2024 An area of low pressure will bring cloudy skies, outbreaks of rain and strong winds, at least in the north and central areas. Drier and brighter from the west later. Maximum temperatures at 14C in north, but 20C in south.
Tuesday 09/07/2024 A mostly dry and bright start to the day for all, away from far north where some showers are possible. A longer spell of rain over Ireland later in the afternoon. Tops of 15C in north but 18C in south.
Wednesday 10/07/2024 A rather cloudy day with showers or longer spells of rain, this heavy mostly in south and east. Maximum temperatures at 14-16C over north and west, but up to 22-24C in southeast.
