A continuing spell of unsettled and changeable weather with a mix of rain often prolonged and frequent showers

Atlantc lows move over the UK in quick succession giving prolonged and often heavy rain acros all regions, though with the highest totals mainly in West and Southwest. When rain clears to the East there will be a mix of sunny spells and frequent, blustery showers. Temperatures generally 6-8DegC and below average for Norther England and Scotland, to 8-10degC for Southern England.

Monday 13/11/23
A wet day for Northern Ireland, Southwest Scotland across Northern England to East coast of England as an area of low pressure tracks West to East during the day. Cloud and rain will transfer north and eastwards into Central and Northeast and Eastern Scotland through the afternnon clearing during the evening. Temperatures below average with a fresh E/SE wind ahead of rain, briefly veering SW with showers following. Remainder of Wales, Central and Southern England mainly cloudy throughout with outbreaks of rain during the day with showers through the afternoon and evening. Temperatures 8-10DegC and a fresh SW wind.


Tuesday 14/11/23
Changeable with showers through the morning affecting Northern Ireland, Southwest and Northeast Scotland. Temperatures here reaching highs of 6-8DegC through the afternoon.Although a dry and sunny morning for most of England and Wales a developing area of low pressure will track across Central and Southern England during the afternoon and evening being prolonged and often heavy with fresh S/SW winds, temperatures 11-12DegC


Wednesday 15/11/23
Cloudy for most of England and Wales through the morning as overnight rain moves away eastwards. Rain then becomes prolonged and often heavy for all of Eastern and Southeastern England. Rain most prolonged with highest total for Humberside and East Anglia. Wind fresh E/SE with fog on and near coastal locations. temperatures 6-8DegC. Some sunny and dry interludes for remaining districts of England and Wales. temperatures 8-10DegC


Thursday 16/11/23
With pressure rising generally across the UK, today will be a mix of sunny spells and showers, temperatures 4-6DegC for Scotland and Northern England. Showers often merging to give longer outbreak of rain will persist across Southwest and Southeast England, temperatures 7-9DegC. Clearing skies over Scotland during the evening will result in a widespread ground and moderate air frost, temperatures -3DegC in Central Lowlands to 2Deg near windward coasts.


Friday 17/11/23
A day of sunshine and showers, showers moving south from Northeast Scotland to Eastern England during the day. For remainder of England and Wales mainly dry with sunny spells and scattered showers. Cool with a fresh N/NE wind along eastern coasts with showers, temperatures 4-6degC. Winds generally Westerly for England and Wales temperatures 8-10DegC.


Saturday 18/11/23
A windy day with fresh S/SW winds. Areas of rain affecting SW Scotland, N.Ireland and moving into Northwest England. Feeling cool here temperatures 8-10degC. Remainder of England and Wales cloudy at times with sunny spells, milder temperartures 8-12degC, highest in Southeast
