Mixed this coming week but drier, more settled weather expected for the start of next week. Warmer later.

Staying with mixed conditions through the week into the weekend before higher pressure and more settled weather is expected for the start of the following week. Temperatures staying low through next week but should climb at the weekend.

Wednesday 23/6/21
Rain will affect mainly northern and western areas of the UK and Ireland on Wednesday. Initially affecting Ireland, Northern Ireland as well as north and west Scotland, before largely clearing Ireland and spreading into central and eastern areas of Scotland and moving into northern England and Wales later in the day. Staying largely dry elsewhere with the best of any lasting sunshine across the east and southeast. Highs at 14 to 21C.

Thursday 24/6/21
A mixed day on Thursday with England and Wales seeing some sunny spells but also showers, heavy for some, while northern and central Scotland as well as Northern Ireland and western areas of Ireland will be affected by more in the way of persistent rainfall. Elsewhere, rather cloudy but mainly dry. Highs at 15 to 22C.
 

Friday 25/6/21
The UK and Ireland looks to stay under the influence of low pressure on Friday, allowing for outbreaks of showery rain to affect many areas, but also some sunny spells and dry conditions about too. Highs at 14 to 20C.

Saturday 26/6/21
Low pressure slides to the south of England on Saturday. A drier and brighter day for Scotland, Northern Ireland and much of Ireland but England and Wales could well continue to see showers, possibly longer spells of rain. Highs at 16 to 22C.

Sunday 27/6/21
A largely dry and fine day with good sunny spells about for many on Sunday as high pressure ridges across, however, there will be some showers still affecting parts of southern and southeast England. A warmer day for many with highs between 17 and 24C for many, cooler across north and northwest Scotland.

Monday 27/6/21
A dry and fine start to the new week. Monday currently looks to see plenty of lasting sunshine about, although cloudier skies for the Northern Isles with possible patchy rain here for a time. Highs at 16 to 24C.
