High pressure remains firmly in control across the British Isles. England, Wales and southern Scotland will see long spells of sunshine, while cloudier skies persist further north and west. A few showers are possible across the Hebrides and the Northwest Highlands. Highs of 28C in the southeast, but nearer 15C in the northwest.

Sunday 24/05/2026
A sunny and rather warm day for many across the British Isles. Isolated showers are still possible over the Hebrides, but elsewhere conditions stay dry with plenty of sunshine. Highs of 25C to 27C in the south, and around 20C in the north.



 
 
 

Monday 25/05/2026
Another widely sunny and warm day, especially across central and southern areas. Cloudier skies are likely across the Hebrides and Northern Isles at times. Highs of 27C to 29C across central and southern parts, and around 22C in the north.



 
 
 

Tuesday 26/05/2026
Settled weather conditions continue with plenty of sunshine for most. Some cloud will linger around northern and western coastal areas, keeping it slightly cooler there. Highs of 25C to 27C across most areas, cooler near northern coasts.



 
 
 

Wednesday 27/05/2026
�England and Wales will see plenty of sunshine, although a few heavy showers may develop across the southwest during the afternoon. Ireland will turn somewhat cloudier than in recent days with a few scattered showers in the south, while skies across Scotland gradually become cloudier too. Highs of 30C in the southeast, and 20C to 22C in the north.

A cloudier day than of late as northerly winds strengthen. A few showers are expected, mainly across northern areas and near the English Channel. Temperatures will ease from the north, although far southern areas are still likely to feel very warm.
