Mixed or unsettled with rain and showers, windy at times too
The week stays mixed with periods of showers and rain. More unsettled towards the end of the week bringing wind and rain, some of it heavy, followed by heavy showers. Perhaps drier later in the weekend.

Some outbreaks of rain across East Anglia and southeast England on Tuesday morning, easing eastwards through the day. Showers through the Midlands and Wales as well as Ireland. Some showers too in eastern Scotland and northeast England. Drier in western parts with brief bright or sunny spells. Highs at 15C along eastern coasts, 17 to 19C for most other areas.
A front will be passing from west to east through Wednesday. This brings cloud and rain, some of it heavy over hills in the west. The rain should clear east and north by afternoon with brighter weather following. Some good spells of sunshine in Ireland, a few showers here. Highs at 16 to 20C.
Low pressure will be west of Ireland on Thursday. Rain across Ireland and the west of the UK on Thursday morning, spreading eastwards through the day. Drier in northern Scotland, just an odd shower here. Drier in eastern areas at first but rain arrives in the afternoon here. Becoming windy for England, Wales and Ireland. Highs at 16 to 20C.
Low pressure north of Scotland on Friday. A breezy day with sunshine and showers for all. The showers will be heavy at times, especially in the west. A risk of thunderstorms and hail. Highs at 14C in Scotland, 20C in southern England.
Further showers on Saturday with low pressure in control. The showers will be heavy in northern and western England. Fewer showers in the east and south. Highs at 14 to 20C.
Sunny spells on Sunday and dry for many areas. There will be some showers in western Scotland and western Ireland. Highs at 16 to 22C.
