High pressure will begin to settle over the British Isles. Showers will become confined to the east coast, with some wintry precipitation over higher ground. A few showers may also persist over the Irish Sea. Cool and windy, with temperatures ranging from 5-7°C across most areas. Frost overnight over Ireland and Scotland.

Monday 09/12/2024
The day will be mostly bright with light winds and sunny spells, although the southeast may see showers, particularly around the English Channel. Morning fog patches are possible over Ireland and Scotland. Highs will be 5°C in the north and 7°C in the south, with widespread frost in the north and west.


 

Tuesday 10/12/2024
The southeast may see showers, otherwise it will be a mostly dry and bright day with light winds and possible fog patches in the north. Highs of 3°C in the north and 6°C in the south, with overnight frost in the west. Widespread frost overnight for Ireland and Scotland.


 

Wednesday 11/12/2024
Some rain is possible over the northwest, while elsewhere it will remain dry but rather cloudy. Temperatures will peak at 3-4°C across most areas. A frosty night to follow.

A cloudy day with some light rain over Scotland. Drier elsewhere with some bright spells. Highs at around 4-5C. Frost overnight inland.

A rather cloudy day with strengthening winds. Rain is expected to arrive over Ireland and Scotland, but it will remain dry elsewhere. Maximums of 4-5C over most parts. Frost overnight only over the south.
