Some showers for Friday & Saturday, becoming dry during the weekend
Reminents of the front cause showers on Friday and Saturday, mostly across western and northern areas, southeast including London shall stay dry or get only a brief light shower. On Sunday dry weather for most, lasting until Monday morning in Ireland and Scotland and Monday evening in England. Following rain, wet conditions will last until Wednesday when again dry and often sunny day is expected.

Friday 26/7/24 Showery rain for Ireland and western Scotland, for others only a few scattered showers but a good deal of dry weather during the day. Sunny spells and variable cloud, best sunshine in the east from London through East Midlands to Hull. Light westerly breezes. Pleasantly warm, highs 17 to 25C, warmest in the southeast.
Saturday 27/7/24 High pressure slowly building from the southwest. Showers remain widely, especially in Ireland, generally by the western coast and toward northeast, but dry conditions in the south. Light west to northwesterly breezes. Highs 15 to 23C.
Sunday 28/7/24 A fine and warm day under high pressure. Plenty of sunshine, some broken cloud forming. Small chance of isolated late afternoon showers. Light winds and sea breezes. Highs 17 to 23C.
Monday 29/7/24 Fine weather is likely to continue in most in England with high pressure in charge. Southwesterly breezes will bring showery rain toward Ireland, Wales and western parts of England and Scotland. Breezy in the west. Highs 17 to 23C.
Tuesday 30/7/24 With a low passing east of Britain showery in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and northern England. Rain may be heavy in Scotland. Chance for a dry day in Midlands, on the eastern coast and in the south. Bright spells mixed with overcast periods. Windy along the coasts. Most sunshine in the east. Highs widely between 18 and 27C.
Wednesday 31/7/24 Under the influence of high pressure warm and sunny for most in England. Most sunshine and warmest in the southeast. In Scotland more clouds and rain along the western coast. Cloudy also in Ireland, with spots of light rain. Although little sun, dry in Wales. Highs from 16C in Wales and Scotland to 25C in London.
