Saturday 17/04/21
Staying dry overall with a good deal of sunshine. Cloud filling in a little by afternoon. An area of low pressure over the Atlantic brings rain to the west of Ireland, which may extend into the far west of Scotland later with thickening cloud here. An east to southeasterly breeze, strongest in western regions. A frosty start, but becoming pleasantly warm by afternoon in sunshine. Chilly on eastern coasts. Highs 12 to 15C inland.

Sunday 18/04/21
Much of England and Wales are likely to remain dry with variable cloud and warm sunshine. Fronts encroaching in from the west bring more cloud to Scotland and Ireland, with some outbreaks of rain, mostly light, but may become persistent and heavier for west and southwest Scotland. A fresh southerly breeze in the north and west, lighter breezes for central and southern England. Highs 13 to 16C, cooler in the west in rain.

Monday 19/04/21
Some uncertainty, but a risk of patchy rain for Scotland, west Wales and southwest England, plus Northern Ireland. The rain may be fairly persistent, perhaps fizzling out with time. Skies staying cloudy here. Further east across England, skies generally brighter, likely mostly sunny in east and quite warm. Light south to southeasterly winds. Ranging from 8C in west, to 16C southeast.

Tuesday 20/04/21
The remnants of a front may bring rather cloudy skies and a few scattered showers across England and Wales, but many places probably escaping dry. High pressure begins to build back across the northwest of Britain and Ireland. A fresh northeasterly wind for southern England. A little cooler, highs 10 to 14C.

Wednesday 21/04/21
High pressure is expected to extend back across most of Britain, with dry and sunny conditions for many. Some local mist patches in the morning. A little cloud filling in at times for some. A cool easterly breeze in the south. Light winds for many. Highs 10 to 15C.

Thursday 22/04/21
Settled weather is expected as high pressure dominates. Early mist patches clearing to leave a plenty of sunshine and feeling warm. Light winds for most, perhaps a fresher easterly breeze on the south coast. A cool start with slight frost, but reaching 13 to 16C by afternoon.
