Changeable yet mild for many
Anohter changeable week yet it will be mild for many, particularly further south and east. A fast developing area of low pressure on Wednesday will bring heavy rain and strong winds to many.

Thursday 28/9/23 Low pressure remains on Thursday. A fair start to the day in much of England and Wales as well as eastern Scotland. Outbreaks of rain in Ireland and with frequent showers on to many weastern areas of the UK. Longer spells of rain affecting southwest England and south Wales later. A breezy day for many. Highs at 14 to 20C.
Friday 29/9/23 A better day as a ridge of high pressure builds over the British Isles. There will be some showers in western Scotland and northwest England, but dry for other areas with sunny spells. Highs at 14 to 19C.
Saturday 30/9/23 High pressure is expected to still influence the British Isles on Saturday. A risk of some mist and fog patches for some in the south and east. These clear to leave conditions dry with good spells of sunshine. A few showers in the west. Highs at 15 to 21C.
Sunday 1/10/23 Rain overnight lingers through the morning across Wales inot central regions of England before gradually easing back. Showers will affect many western areas. Drier further south andf east where it will be mild. Highs at 25C in the southeast, 14C in northwest Scotland.
Monday 2/10/23 Cloud and patchy rain in gradually clearing southern areas on Monday. Drier in the north with plenty of cloud although some sunny spells in the east. Temperatures at 14 to 19C.
Tuesday 3/10/23 A ridge of higher pressure builds up from the southwest on Tuesday, A mostly dry and fine day with developing sunny spells, though there will be showers on to some western coasts and hills. Highs at 14 to 20C.
