Overall this upcoming week is looking rather unsettled with rain and occasional showers coming in from the west as the jet stream develops areas of low pressure that run across the north. Monday and Tuesday appear the wettest days of the week. By the end of the week high pressure turns things settled and warm.

Wednesday 03/08/16
Scattered showers are expected for Scotland with rain across Northern Ireland. Morning rain across south east England clears to sunny spells. Fair and dry across the rest of Britain. Expect high temperatures of 15 to 22C.

Thursday 04/08/16
Rain may affect the far south of England through the day. Elsewhere expect a good deal of cloud and occasional showers. Heavier rain may spread into much of England in the evening. Highs of 17 to 20C.

 
 
 

Friday 05/08/16
It continues unsettled today with a good deal of cloud and plenty of showers and some will be heavy. Little if any showers to come across south west England. Most of the showers dissipate through the evening. Highs of 17 to 22C.

 
 
 

Saturday 06/08/16
A number of showers to come across western areas with most eastern areas chiefly fair and dry. Outbreaks of rain to affect Wales and the south west in the afternoon. A wet night across the country with the heaviest rain across Scotland. Highs of 17 to 22C.

 
 
 

Sunday 07/08/16
A rather cloudy day, warm to comer across the country with sporadic outbreaks of mainly light rain. England and Wales should become dry for the evening. Highs of 17 to 25C.

Monday 08/08/16
It continues warm. High pressure should give much of the country a fine, dry day with early low cloud breaking to sunny spells for most. Highs of 16 to 25C.
