Issued: 0900 Tuesday 9th July 2024 Duty forecaster: Dr. Simon Keeling
Unsettled with rain and showers, better later
Staying mixed for most of the week with sunny spells and some showers. Most showers in the east with some rain at first too. Higher pressure riding in the west will allow for fewer sowers here and then later in the forecast a tendency towards drier weather. Some warm days in the south, but cooler first in the showers north and east.

Friday 12/7/24 Low pressure south of the country on Friday bringing some cloud and rain across southern and southeastern areas. Some showers in northern and western England and Wales, the best of the sunshine in western areas too. Highs at 20C in Ireland and brighter parts of the west. Breezy in the south.
