Messy and mixed with rain at times but dry days too. Overall, reasonably mild.

Mixed weather throughout with some drier days but others seeing rain push in. Next week, northern and western regions look to feel the brunt of rain and strengthened winds while southern and eastern regions will fair better, though it will remain relatively mild with a south-westerly flow.

Friday 17/9/21
Spells of rain will push across Ireland, Northern Ireland, far western regions of Scotland, Wales and southwest England, heavy and persistent in places. Staying mainly dry with sunny spells elsewhere and feeling mild. Highs at 19 and 24C, cooler though under the cloud and rain
 


Saturday 18/9/21
Saturday looks to be a day of sunny spells and showers though with plenty of drier periods too. There does look to be some more persistent rainfall moving in to far western regions of Ireland later in the day. Highs at 17 to 21C.

 
 
 


Sunday 19/9/21
Low pressure west of Scotland on Sunday. A front associated with the low brings some rain through Ireland and into the west of the UK. More eastern areas tending to be drier with some bright spells. Highs at 16 to 21C.

Monday 20/9/21
The start of the new week seeing rain and freshening winds across Northern Ireland and northern and western regions of Scotland. With a ridge trying to build in from the Azores, much of Ireland, England and Wales currently look to be mostly dry. A cooler day further north with highs between 13 and 17C. Further south highs at 17 to 21C.

Tuesday 21/9/21
Much of England and Wales staying dry again on Tuesday but rain affecting Scotland, Northern Ireland and pushing across much of Ireland through the day. A milder day compared with Monday with highs at 17 to 21C for most, although still cooler across NW Scotland and NW England.

Wednesday 22/9/21
A brisk yet mild wind across the country. Spells of rain affecting Scotland, perhaps heavy towards the west with better drier spells futher east. Blustery showers affecting western regions of Ireland and the UK, but largely dry further east and across southern regions of England. Highs at 17 to 22C.
