Cloudy to start with remaining overnight rain slow to clear through the morning Suffolk to Sussex and Kent, cloud and rain clearing into the afternoon with sunshine to follow, 23C generally. Hampshire to Cornwall northwards into Wales to Cumbria and Yorkshire a dry mainly sunny day, 15 to 17C Wales to Shropshire, 20 to 22C for most of central and southern England. Sunshine and scattered blustery showers across western Scotland with a fresh SW wind, showers transferring eastwards through the afternoon 11C Higland, 15 to 17C Tayside to Borders.

A cloudy and cool start to and through the morning for Highland, into Stirling to Dumfries with scattered blustery showers,15C sunshine and variable cloud N.Ireland to Cumbria Tayside to Borders, 16 generally 18C locally. Remaining dry with sunshine for remainder of England and Wales 16C coastal Wales, 22 central England 24 south and east.
