Mostly dry and milder, murky at times
Temperatures are likely to be rising over the coming days. High pressure is going to be developing over or close to the UK bringing a spell of settled weather. Light winds and clearer skies may well allow some mist and fog patches to form which will be slow to clear for many. Perhaps murky on several days, especially towards the weekend.

Thursday 27/10/16 Little change on Thursday with high pressure remaining just south of the UK. Morning mist and fog patches in the far south at first, but these then clearing to leave sunny spells and dry conditions throughout the day. Fronts brings showery bursts of rain into northern and western parts of Ireland as well as the north and west of Scotland. Drier to the east of Scotland. Tops near 12 to 17C and so feeling very mild.
Friday 28/10/16 High pressure settles over the UK on Friday, probably towards the south. Weak fronts lying through the high brings plenty of low cloud as well as mist and murk. There could be a few spots of drizzle over the hills. Brighter in Scotland with some sunny spells developing and it is likely to be dry too. The mist and murk tending to lift with sunny spells breaking through. Highs at 12 to 17C and so mild for all.
Saturday 29/10/16 High pressure remains over the south of England on Saturday. Morning mist and fog patches for England and Wales will be lifting to leave a dry day with sunny spells. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain associated with fronts over Ireland and Scotland. Most of the drizzle affecting western Ireland and western Scotland. Tops at a mild 13 to 17C.
Sunday 30/10/16 Little change on Sunday with high pressure remaining over England and Wales. Mist and fog patches may be slower to clear, but once they have the day will be dry with some bright spells. Fronts again affecting Ireland and Scotland bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain here. Tops near 14 to 17C.
Monday 31/10/16 Higher pressure may slip a little further east on Monday. This brings drier weather with some sunny spells in the east after mist and fog patches clear. Fronts giving cloud and rain in western areas of Wales and Scotland as well as Ireland. Highs at a mild 12 to 17C.
Tuesday 1/11/16 A slack pressure flow across the country on Tuesday. Morning mist and fog patches could be widespread. However, these clearing to leave the day dry with sunny spells for most. Highs at 12 to 17C.
