Wet north and west, mild for all, some drier days east and south
Staying mild through the coming week and some very mild days in central and southeastern parts of England too. Rain will be affecting many areas with most of this in the north and west. Tending to be drier into the middle of next week.

More fronts will be pushing northwards on Saturday. These will be bringing rain to many areas, the rain heavy in western areas. The rain reaches Scotland through Saturday afternoon, as it stays wet in Wales and western England with drizzle and lighter rain in Ireland. Turning drier in the eastern Midlands, East Anglia and southern England with some bright or sunny spells coming through, the best of them in the far southeast. Breezy for all. Highs at 8C in northern Scotland, 13C in southeast England.
Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in southwest England, Wales and northern England with plenty of mist and fog around coasts and hills. Drier in central and eastern areas although there could be some morning drizzle. A few sunny spells in East Anglia and southeast England. Cloudier and drier in northern Scotland, some drizzle in the west and this affects central and eastern Ireland. Highs at 7 or 8C in the north and west, a very mild 15C in central and eastern areas.
Monday is likely to be a drier day for many. There will be some bright or sunny spells. Always the risk of lower cloud and some mist affecting western coast and hills. Increasing winds across Ireland will bring rain into the evening. Tops at 9 to 12C.
Wet in Scotland and western parts of the UK as well as Ireland on Tuesday. It will be windy with a risk of gales in western areas too. Probably cloudy but drier in eastern parts, but some low cloud, mist and fog along southern coasts and hills. Highs at 9 to 15C.
Low pressure west of Scotland on Wednesday. Sunny spells and showers in Scotland, Wales and Ireland as much of western England. Breezy too. Some rain in East Anglia and southeast England, this tending to fade. Highs at 7 to 12C and feeling a little cooler during the day/
A brighter day with some reasonable spells of sunshine for many areas. Some low cloud and drizzle may affect western coasts and hills. Best of the sunshine in the east. Highs around 10 to 15C.
