A bright day with scattered showers mostly over Ireland and Scotland as well as western England and Wales. Further south and east a quite dry day with sunny spells. Showers tend to die away later in the afternoon, and become more confined over Scotland through the evening. Top temperatures at 17C in north and 21C in south.

Ireland and Scotland will see a rather cloudy day with plenty of showers, these mostly over the western counties. Over England and Wales it will be a dry and bright day with long sunny periods. Tops of 16C in north and 22C in south.

High pressure extends over most parts away from the far northwest. Expect rather cloudy skies and strong winds over northwest Ireland and Scotland. However, the more south and east you go, the better the weather with warm sunshine. Maximum temperatures at 19C in north and 22C in south.


 

Sunday 01/09/2024
High pressure continues to give pleasant conditions over most parts away from the far northwest, where again more cloud and some rain is expected, but with lighter winds than of Saturday. Tops of 20C in north and 24C in south.



 
 
 

Monday 02/09/2024
Any remaining rain in northwest will clear soon, with a dry and bright day for all with pleasant sunshine. It will feel warm in southeast as the developing breeze from the continent will bring higher temperatures with maximums of 20C in north and 25C in south.

A mostly dry and bright day perhaps with a few showers over Scotland. Best of the conditions over the southeast. Winds turning northwesterly with afternoon tops of 16C in north and 24C in south.
