A ridge of high pressure is expected over Ireland with good weather conditions, these spreading east later in the afternoon and evening. Over western Ireland expect soon more cloud, strengthening winds and outbreaks of rain. Maximums of 16C in north, and 22C in south.
Monday 22/07/2024 An area of low pressure will give rather cloudy skies and some rain in places, this heavy in north. Drier conditions following from the west later. Breezy with tops of 16C in north and 20C in south.
Tuesday 23/07/2024 An increasingly dry and bright day as high pressure spread in from the west, with plenty of sunny spells. Expect some afternoon showers to develop in east. Maximums of 17C in north, but 21C in south.
Wednesday 24/07/2024 A mostly dry and bright day with plenty of sunny spells, especially in east. Cloudier later over Ireland with some rain. Tops of 17C in north but 20C in south.
Thursday 25/07/2024 A rather cloudy day with scattered showers, these more frequent in west and north where possibly heavy. Breezy, with maximums of 16C in north, but 20C in south.
Friday 26/07/2024 A mostly bright day with only a few afternoon showers mostly in west. Best of the sunshine over the east. Tops of 17C in north, and 21C in south.
