Monday 4/5/26
A mostly cloudy but largely dry day across Ireland. Similar conditions in Scotland, but with showers arriving to the far north and spreading into the central Highlands with time. Southern Scotland and northern England likely stay dry with plenty of sunny spells. The remnants of the front from Sunday continue to bring showery rain to Wales and central England, these trending southward. A risk of heavy afternoon showers in southern England. Highs of 17C in the south and 12C in Scotland, though 8C in the far north.


Tuesday 5/5/26
Mixed cloud and sun with well-scattered showers on Tuesday. The showers most frequent along north and east coastal areas, a few inland regions seeing clusters of showers too. Many will have a dry day. Maximum temperatures of 15C in the south and 10C in the north.


 


Wednesday 6/5/26
Frosts at dawn in upland Scotland. Showers in England and Scotland, the showers heavy and clustered together in eastern areas. These showers turning wintry in northern Scotland, perhaps some extended sleet falls in the northern mountains. Only scattered showers Wales and Ireland. Chilly highs at 14C in the southeast, 9C to the north.


 


Thursday 7/5/26
Some frosts at dawn in the north, then mixed cloud and sun again on Thursday. Fair weather cloud building with time and afternoon showers in south and east parts of Ireland and England. Another cool day with maximum temperatures of 15C in the south and 10C in the north.


 


Friday 8/5/26
High pressure building across the British Isles will bring a dry day with clearing skies and increasing sunshine. Some afternoon showers possible in the south. A strengthening east-southeasterly wind. Highs at 10 to 17C.

Saturday 9/5/26
A strong southeasterly wind across most areas on Saturday. Fronts brining heavy showery rain to Wales, southern England and Ireland, most other areas dry with sunny spells. Highs at 10 to 17C.
