A rather cloudy day with widespread showers, these turning heavy and perhaps thundery across central and southern Ireland, Wales, and central and southern England. Further north, showers will generally be lighter, though skies remain mostly cloudy. Highs of 19C in the south, but only around 10C in the north.

Monday 04/05/2026
A mostly cloudy but largely dry day across Ireland. Scotland will see a few showers, mainly across the Lowlands and eastern coasts, while England and Wales remain rather cloudy with scattered showers, most frequent over Wales. Highs of 16C in the south and 10C in the north.


 

Tuesday 05/05/2026
Another rather cloudy day across the British Isles. Ireland and much of Scotland should stay mostly dry, with only a few showers further south and east. Eastern England will see the best of the brighter weather with some sunny spells developing. Maximum temperatures of 14C in the south and 10C in the north.


 

Wednesday 06/05/2026
An increasing easterly wind will bring further cloud and a few showers, most frequent across Scotland and perhaps far southern England near the English Channel. Wales and central England should remain mostly dry, while Ireland sees only isolated showers. Feeling noticeably cooler, with highs of 10C in the south and 8C in the north.

�A rather cloudy but mostly dry day, with the best of any brighter spells across Ireland. Some showers may develop later across the Northern Isles. Another chilly day with maximum temperatures of 12C in the south and 10C in the north.

High pressure building across the British Isles will bring a dry day with clearing skies and increasing sunshine. After a cool start, temperatures will slowly recover, with highs generally between 12C and 14C.
