Turning fresher early int the new week with the weather becoming more mixed. rain or showers affecting many areas, some of the rain thundery at times. Some brief drier spells will occur too.

Tuesday 12/9/23 High pressure west of Ireland on Tuesday. Lower pressure extends into the east of the British Isles. A front bringing cloud in much of England and Wales with some showery bursts of rain in the north and west and some heavy showers in the south. Brighter for Scotland and Ireland as well as the far north of Wales with some showers here too. Highs at 24C in southeast England, 15 to 20C north to south for most.
Wednesday 13/9/23 A ridge of high pressure builds on Wednesday bringing fair weather. There may be some morning mist and fog patches but these clear and then the day is fair. increasing cloud in Ireland as fronts approach bringing rain. Tops at a fresher 14 to 20C.
Thursday 14/9/23 On Thursday a front will be trailing through the country bringing cloud and rain to northern England, the Midlands and Wales. A few showers and some bright spells in western Scotland and Ireland, drier in southeast England. Highs at 24C in the southeast, 15C in northern Scotland.
Friday 15/9/23 Cloud and rain affecting Ireland today, a risk of this reaching Wales, western England and western Scotland. Probably drier and brighter in the east. Highs at 14 to 21C.
Saturday 16/9/23 A more unsettled day as low pressure develops over the British Isles. Cloud and outbreaks of rain, most in the far south and west. Brighter in western Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 15 to 20C.
Sunday 17/9/23 A ridge of high pressure builds bringing a dry day with sunny spells. A few showers in eastern areas. Highs at 15 to 22C.
