Plenty of dry and warm conditions, but some cloud about and patchy rain in north and west

On the whole, there still looks to be an improvement in the weather coming up with rising temperatures as high pressure is dominant. Although, cloudier skies could be a feature through the week for some and there is some patchy rain in the forecast.

High pressure remains on Sunday. There will be some good spells of sunshine for most and it should be largely dry. A front just to the west of the UK and Ireland could bring thicker cloud to northern and western Scotland, Northern Ireland and western parts of Ireland through the day with some patchy light rain and drizzle. Highs at 18 to 23C.
 

Bank Holiday Monday 31/5/21
Monday is likely to be staying dry and fair for most areas under higher pressure, however, more cloud and patchy light rain across parts of northern and western Scotland into Northern Ireland and parts of Ireland once again. Highs at 19 to 23C.

 
 
 

Tuesday 1/6/21
Pressure stays high through Tuesday. There will be more cloud than previous days and the chance of a few spots of drizzle affecting western parts of Ireland into Northern Ireland and southern Scotland. Dry for most though and remaining warm. Highs at 18 to 21C.

Wednesday 2/6/21
Pressure again remaining high through Wednesday, although there will be a weak front passing east which may bring some cloud and scattered showers to northern England and Scotland. Drier to the south with sunny spells. Highs at 16 to 20C.

Thursday 3/6/21
Generally higher pressure continues through Thursday although there could be more cloud and some developing showers in places, perhaps more concentrated further north. Highs at 17 to 21C.

Friday 4/6/21
Friday is currently looking to be a mostly dry and fine day, although with lower pressure to be west of Scotland there could be more cloud to far western areas giving the risk of some patchy light rain and drizzle. Highs 16 to 21C.
