Dry with sunshine, milder for a time, then drier and cooler mid-week
Mostly dry over the coming days, some reasonable spells of sunshine through the weekend. Dry at first into the new week and mild too. Hints of turning more showery into the middle of the week, temperatures becoming cooler as well.

High pressure to the east on Sunday. It will be dry and bright with good spells of sunshine in much of England and Wales as well as eastern Scotland and eastern Ireland. Cloudier in western Ireland with periods of rain here. Some rain in western Scotland too. Highs at 7 to 11C.
High pressure east of the UK on Monday. Dry for most with sunny spells, best in the south. Thicker cloud and stronger winds in western Scotland and western Ireland. Milder to the south with tops of 12C around 10C in Ireland and western Scotland.
Higher pressure remains with dry conditions in England and Wales. Sunny spells and dry too. Cloudier and damp in Scotland and western Ireland. Highs at 8C in central Scotland, 12 to 16C in other areas.
A band of rain passing east through Wednesday. Some of the rain could be heavy at times. Turning brighter and cooler from the west. Brighter in the east and milder too. Highs at 15C in eastern areas, 7C in Ireland and western parts of the UK.
A cooler day is likely with low pressure to the east. A few showers over eastern coasts. Brighter and drier to the west with sunny spells and scattered showers. Highs around 8 to 12C.
