Hot for now but we will see a temperature decrease through the week next week as the winds switch around. Thundery showers this weekend and continuing mixed next week.

Sunday 10/9/23 Heavy, thundery showery rain will be passing north through Ireland, Wales, northern England and eventually into southern Scotland by the afternoon on Sunday. Drier further south and southeast and still a hot day here with highs up at 31C in East Anglia and southeast England, 23C in Ireland and eastern Scotland, 17C in western Scotland.
Monday 11/9/23 Showers as well as a front of rain will push eastwards across the country on Monday. Southern and southeastern areas of England though again are expected to stay dry. Highs at 29C in East Anglia, 18C in Ireland and Scotland.
Tuesday 12/9/23 Fresher conditions for more on Tuesday as fronts clear to the southeast of the UK and higher pressure looks to build back in across the UK and Ireland. Highs at 17 to 24C for most though still hot at 26C in SE England.
Wednesday 13/9/23 A fair day for most with sunshine. Low pressure northwest of Scotland will bring increasing cloud and rain here, Northern Ireland and northwest Ireland. Highs at 15 to 22C.
Thursday 14/9/23 A weak front of rain will track eastwards across the country on Thursday though will clear to the west as the day progresses with drier and brighter weather. Southern and southeastern areas staying dry. Highs at 16 to 24C.
Friday 15/9/23 Mixed weather for Friday with showers as well as peraps some spells of persistent rain about. Highs at 16 to 25C.
