High pressure to the south on Sunday brings a southwest to westerly flow to the UK and Ireland. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain and drizzle may affect the far south of England on Sunday. Showers in northern and western Scotland. Other areas are likely to be largely dry and bright with some good sunny spells breaking through. Highs at 6 to 11C.

A transient ridge of high pressure over the UK on Thursday though low pressure moves in from the west once more. Staying dry but increasingly cloudy across much of Great Britain. Cloudier for Ireland and Northern Ireland with rain moving in here. Highs of 6 to 9C.
