A ridge of high pressure will give a mostly dry and bright day over England and Wales with the best of the sunshine over southeast. Cloudier lover Ireland and western Scotland with freshening winds and some patchy light rain. Temperatures will rise up to 18-20C over most parts, but up to 22-24C over England.

Monday 29/07/2024
The far west will remain cloudy with outbreaks of rain. Elsewhere a mostly dry and bright day with plenty of sunny spells, the best of these over the southeast. Tops of 19-20C in north, but 22-24C over the south, and locally 26-27C in southeast.



 
 
 

Tuesday 30/07/2024
A mostly dry and bright day with plenty of sunny spells away from the northwest, where it will be cloudier with strengthening winds and some rain. Maximums of 16-18C in north and west, but 22-24C elsewhere and locally 26-27C over southeast England.



 
 
 

Wednesday 31/07/2024
A cloudier than of late but mostly dry day with the best of the sunshine over the Southeast. Over Ireland and western Scotland cloud will be thick enough to give some light patchy rain along the fresh winds. Tops of 19-20C over most parts, but 22-24C over England and locally 25-26C over the southeast.

South and east will see mostly dry conditions with sunny spells. Elsewhere cloudier with some rain, this turning heavy in places. Maximums of 20C, but 22-24C over the southeast.

A mostly dry bright day over the east, while a band of heavy rain will perhaps reach far west along with strengthening winds. Maximums of 18C in north, but 22-24C in south.
