Cloudy with scattered showers to start Tayside to Highland and Western Isles running to Antrim,elsewhere for England and Wales dry though cloudy, temperatures 4C with a fresh Easterly wind. Showers becoming widely scattered later during the morning across Scotland and into N.Ireland with cloud breaking so give increasing sunshine for the afternoon, temperatures 5 to 7C. Remaining rather cloudy with showers through the afternoon for Northumberland to Humberside though these will be scattered later in the afternoon, temperatures 6 to 8C with a fresh E/SE wind and high windchill on and near North Sea coasts. For the remainder of England and Wales scatterd showers with sunny spells and broken cloud, temperatures generally 8 to 10C briefly 12C for sheltered Devon to Essex, and likely Liinclolshire. Mainly dry through the eveing and overnight though mainly cloudy.

Tuesday 12/03/2024
Cloudy with rain becoming prolonged and heavy to start Devon to Hampshire, Wales, Shropshire to Lancashire and into Dumfries to Western Isles, rain later moving north and east through the morning and into the afternoon being slow to clear across EAnglia to Kent. Showers becoming frequent once rain clear from the southwest. Temperatures generally 6-8C, briefly higher to 10C Devon to Cambridgeshire during the afternoon. Fresh SE winds with increasing windchill. Rain clearing all except Highland to Yorkshire and nudging into Kent where this will be slow to clear through the night.

Cloudy with prolonged often heavy rain for Western Scotland and N.Ireland with fresh to strong southerly winds outbreaks of rain Wales to SW England through the morning 8-10C to start, sunshine and showers often frequent and heavy for remainig areas of England and later Scotland, temperatures 8-12C highest to south, fresh Southerly wind.

Stormy off western areas of Scotland and windy, fresh to strong SW wind for remaing areas with frequent blusterly somtime heavy showers through the day. Rain wil become prolonged Hampshire to Yorkshire through the eveing and slow to clear overnight.


 

Friday 15/03/2024
Rather cloudy though mainly dry with sunshine and scattered showers, cloud most persistent towards and over eastern England and North Sea coasts, showers most likely East Anglia to Kent with a fresh NE wind.

Any overnight shallow fog clearing by mid-morning though may be slower to clear central areas of Scotland and Yorkshire staying dry with sunshine, 10C generally locally spring warmth central Highland and Tayside, Cheshire and Welsh Borders to Somerset 13C
