For the weather for the next few days click here

Thursday 14/6/18
Rather deep area of low pressure set to track to the north and north-west of the UK through the day and this bring a more unsettled period of weather with a spell of rain moving south and east, heaviest and most persistent in the north and west through the morning, the rain lighter and more patchy by the time it reaches south-east England. Cool, but bright and showery weather to follow. Potentially very windy across parts of the north and west.Highs 13C to 19C, lowest in the north and west.

Friday 15/6/18
Further unsettled weather is likely for more northern and western areas into Friday at the moment, particularly Scotland, Ireland and parts of N England where some further rain or showers are possible and still rather windy here as well. A ridge of high pressure extends eastwards to the south of the UK through the day so more central and southern areas of England and Wales should have a mainly dry day with some sunny spells. Warm in the south, cooler in the north. Highs 14C to 21C, highest across south-east England.

Saturday 16/6/18
By Saturday and similar conditions are forecast to continue with lower pressure situated just to the west or north-west maintaining unsettled conditions across more northern and western areas, while pressure remains higher just to the south of the UK so more southern areas, overall, drier and brighter with just a few showers. Still perhaps rather breezy in the north and west. Cool in the north, warmer in the south. Highs 14C to 20C.

Sunday 17/6/18
The unsettled weather is likely to continue through to next Sunday at the moment as low pressure continues to dominate just to the north-west. Further rain or showers seem likely, particularly in the north and west, while still drier in the south and east with some sunny spells but with an on-going risk of showers too. Cool for most, perhaps rather warm in the south-east. Highs 14C to 21C, highest in the far south-east.

Monday 18/06/18
Uncertainties by next Monday but high pressure may extend further north through the day so most of England and Wales having a mainly dry day with some sunny spells, especially in the south. Still more changeable or unsettled across northern areas though with some rain or showers still possible, especially across Scotland and Ireland where it may also remain rather windy. Highs 13C to 17C in the north, 16C to 21C in the south and south-east.

Tuesday 19/06/18
A north and west, south and east split in the weather is forecast to continue at the moment with more northern and western areas still maintaining rather changeable or unsettled conditions withs ome rain or showers possible at times, while more southern and eastern regions are generally drier and brighter and warmer too. Highs 13C to 17C in the north and west, 17C to 22C in the far south and south-east.
