A mostly cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, at first over the southern parts, but this spreading north through the afternoon. Some snow is possible over high ground in Scotland, and maybe with some sleet even down to lower levels in the evening. Breezy with maximum temperatures at 4C in north, but 8C in south. Frost developing overnight away from the east coast.

Tuesday 26/03/2024
A cloudy start to the day with outbreaks of rain in south, but sleet and hill snow over Scotland. Through the afternoon, rain and snow will clear away with drier conditions following. Maximum temperatures at 5C in north, and 11C in south. Widespread frost developing overnight.


 

Wednesday 27/03/2024
A frosty and mostly dry start to the day with a few coastal showers in east. Soon thick cloud and heavy rain will spread from the west, with some snow over the Highlands. Rain will clear later in the afternoon with bright spells and a few showers following. A longer spell of rain is expected over England overnight into Thursday. Maximum temperatures at 5C in north, and 11C in south. Patchy frost overnight for Scotland.

Thursday 28/03/2024
Expect a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, some of them on the heavy side. Showers will be more frequent over the southern and western parts, with a risk of thunder. Maximum temperatures at 5C over north and west, but up to 10-12C elsewhere.


 

Friday 29/03/2024
A rather cloudy day with scattered showers, these more frequent in south and west, were some on the heavy side with a risk of thunder. Best of drier and brighter condition over Scotland and northern parts of Ireland. Maximum temperatures at 6C in north, but 12C in south.


 

Saturday 30/03/2024
A long spell of rain is possible especially through England and then later in the day through Scotland. Elsewhere drier and brighter. Breezy with temperatures in the afternoon at 10C in north, but 16C in south.
