Monday 18/03/2024 A few morning showers in north and east along with sunny spells. Further west increasingly cloudy along with strengthening winds and outbreaks of rain spreading over Ireland later in the afternoon, and moving over the rest areas overnight into Tuesday. Far east will remain fairly dry. Strong winds from the afternoon from the west, with gales in exposure. Maximum temperature at 10C in north and 15C in south.
Tuesday 19/03/2024 As a low pressure system will move north-northwest of the British Isles, it will bring cloudy skies along with strong winds and outbreaks of rain, this heavy in west, but light and patchy elsewhere Once this will clear, showers will follow, these more frequent in northwest. Maximum temperature at 8C in north, and 11C in south.
Wednesday 20/03/2024 Cloudy in north with showers or longer spells of rain. Further south and west it will be drier and brighter. As high pressure will build in from the west, dry but rather cloudy conditions will spread east. Breezy with maximum temperatures at 10C in north but 13C in south. Some patchy frost is possible overnight in north.
Thursday 21/03/2024 High pressure will cover most of the British Isles offering dry and bright conditions, the best of the brightness over the southern and eastern England. Over Ireland and Scotland, it will be cloudier with outbreaks of rain, this possibly heavy in west later. Maximum temperatures at 7C in north, but 12C in south.
Friday 22/03/2024 A band of rain will push south through the day. Rain may be heavy over Scotland but it will become more light and patchy as it moves south. Showers will follow in north later, a few on the heavy side over north Scotland, and wintry over high ground. Breezy with maximum temperatures at 9C in north, and 12C.
Saturday 23/03/2024 A rather cloudy day for the north and west, with occasional showers. Elsewhere drier and brighter with isolated showers. Breezy with the temperatures at 9C in north and 12C in south.
