Unsettled with wind and rain, then drier for a time before colder and more mixed later

Unsettled at first this week but pressure then building from the middle of the week bringing drier weather condtions. Then turning more unsettled again into the weekend with rain and showers before turning colder too.

Wednesday 2/10/24
High pressure north of Scotland on Wednesday. A northeast wind bringing a few showers to the coasts of East Anglia and northeast England. The best sunshine is going to be in the west of England, Wales, western Scotland and Ireland. Little changes during the day with those showrs and some cloud continuing in East Anglia and southeast England. Temperatures at 13 to 16C.

Thursday 3/10/24
High pressure remains on Thursday. A fine day with good spells of sunshine, although always the risk of some cloud affecting eastern coasts of East Anglia and Kent. Some drizzle is possible in southern Ireland with cloud increasing in western Ireland. Highs at 13 to 17C.


 

Friday 4/10/24
Low pressure west of Ireland bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain. Patchy rain reaches western Wales and western Scotland in the afternoon. Brighter and drier through more eastern areas. Highs at 13 to 16C.



 
 
 

Saturday 5/10/24
Low pressure over western Ireland on Saturday bringing cloud and some outbreaks of rain to many, most of the rain in the west. Highs near 12 to 17C.



 
 
 

Sunday 6/10/24
Low pressure over the British Isles giving unsettled weather with frequent showers. The showers could be heavy at times with a risk of hail and thunder. Highs at 14 to 17C.

Monday 7/10/24
Low pressure east of the UK on Monday. A cooler northerly wind giving sunshine and showers. The showers could be heavy in the north and west. Highs at 10 to 15C.
