Temperatures cooling, feeling fresher
Fresher weather arrives in Ireland and the west of the UK through Saturday bringing some showery outbreaks of rain. Fresher for all through Sunday with some showers next week, most in the north and west but then turning drier and brighter.

Tuesday 02/07/19 Higher pressure builds through the UK and Ireland on Tuesday. This is going to give a dry day with good spells of sunshine for most. A low risk of some cloud and a few spots of rain in the far northwest of Scotland. Just isolated showers elsewhere, particularly for southwestern parts of Ireland and the UK. Highs at 14C in northern Scotland, 21C in southern England.
Wednesday 03/07/19 Higher pressure remains over the UK and Ireland with lower pressure to the north of Scotland. Further isolated showers possible for northern coasts of Scotland and Ireland with longer outbreaks of showery rain for the Northern Isles. Drier elsewhere with good sunny spells. Highs at 16C in northern Scotland, 23C in southern England.
Thursday 04/07/19 Higher pressure remains over the south of UK and Ireland on Thursday bringing a fair day here with good spells of sunshine while low pressure to the north brings strong winds and outbreaks of rain to Northern Ireland and Scotland. Some showers may also affect Ireland and the north of England. Highs at 14C in northern Scotland, 25C in southern England.
Friday 05/07/19 Low pressure to the east brings showers to northern and northeastern parts of the UK on Friday. Dry and brighter further west and south with some good spells of sunshine. Highs at 14 to 21C.
Saturday 06/07/19 A ridge builds from the west once more bringing drier, brighter conditions. Staying cloudy with showers for eastern areas. High temperatures at 13 to 21C.
Sunday 07/07/19 Lower pressure to the north brings showers and outbreaks of rain to Scotland and Northern Ireland. Dry and brighter for England, Ireland and Wales. High temperatures at 17 to 25C.
