Friday 6th December Cloud and rain clearing all with a generally dry and sunny start Derry to Fife, across Wales through to Norfolk, temperature 5C. Becoming cloudy from west with outbreask of rain initially for Fermanagh to Armagh by midday then into Western Isles, Powys to Cheshire, later Leicestershire, Wilstshire and into Essex later into the afternoon 13C for Devon, nearer 1C across Cumbria with outbreaks of snow with height. Cloudy with periods of more general snow Dumfries to Stirling through the evening with rain overnight
Saturday 7th December Cold and cloudy day with a mix of sunshine and blustery showers, snow at height and along easter coasts. Cloudy to start Shetland to Kent with prolonged spell of mix rain and snow for Aberdeenshire to Borders temperature 3C, through Northumberland to Lincolnshire 5C with a fresh NE wind, showesr easing into the afternoon though continuing along Scottish coasts, Remainder of England and Wales sunshine and showers frequent through Western Isles and Antrim, into Cheshire and Powys mainly of rain with snow at height, temperature 4C Antrim to 6C Worcestershire. Sunshine and variable cloud with scattered showers Devon to Sussex 7C. Widespread moderate -3C and severe -6C frost overnight.
Sunday 8th December Air and ground frost continuing into mid-morning, Cloudy with a mix of rain and outbreaks of snow Antrim, Galloway to Clwyd and Powys, Glamorgan Wilstshire through to Dorset, snow mainly at height. temperature 2C. Cloud and rain easing southwards through the morning with sunshine to follow. Cloudy Aberdeenshire to Kent with a mix of rain and some snow generally with height Borders to Essex, rain becoming prolonged through the evening Norfolk to Kent, elsewhere through central England mainly dry scattered showers 5C. Further showers overnight.
Monday 9th December Cloudy generally with limited sunshine, though sunniest across Western Isles, Antrim and Derry, north to Highland, 4C Ayrshire, near 0C central Highland. Cloudy with outbreaks of rain Norfolk to Surrey and Kent, elsewhere sunshine and scattered showers generally cold with a fresh NE wind. Severe frost overnight across Scotland, temperatures near 0C England and Wales though widespread ground frost.
Tuesday 10th December Cloudy breezy and generally cold, high windchill Yorkshire to Norfolk with a fresh NE wind and showers running onto coasts, 3C. Sunshine and scattered showers western Scotland, elsewhere mainly dry though cloudy at times limited sunshine 5C. Mainly frost-free night.
