Thursday
A front over southern and southeast England on Thursday will be bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain, these slipping away by mid to late afternoon. A windier day in Scotland with gales, severe in the morning, and frequent showers too. Few showers in the east and south of Scotland at first, but an increased risk as the day progresses. Some showers for northwest England, northern and western Wales as well as Ireland but some sunny spells too. Elsewhere the day is bright and breezy with sunny spells throughout the day. Feeling fresh. Highs at 13 to 17C.


Thursday Night
Showers continue in western Scotland and Ireland tonight. Scattered showers at first over western England and Wales. These showers turning more persistent later in the night over western parts of the country. Eastern areas are going to be drier with clearer spells. Lows at a cool 5 to 9C.
 


Friday
Low pressure west of Ireland on Friday with a southwest flow affecting all parts of the country. This is going to be driving showers into Wales, western England and western Scotland as well as Ireland. More eastern parts of England and Scotland should be dry with sunny spells. However, cloud increases through the afternoon bringing showers or rain into central and southern England as rain becomes more persistent in Ireland, western England and Wales. Highs at 12 to 18C.


Saturday
An area of low pressure is expected to be developing and passing eastwards through the UK on Saturday. This brings plenty fo cloud and outbreaks of rain and showers over much of England and Wales. A cool day too. Scattered showers in Scotland with some brighter spells too. Becoming brighter from the west, although still with a few showers on western coasts and hills. Highs near 12 to 16C.
