Breezy and cold in Ireland with outbreaks of rain, these extending into Cornwall and the Isle of Scilly. Little change this afternoon with further cloud and the chance of some spots of drizzle over eastern coasts. Staying damp in western and southern Ireland as well as the far southwest of England with spots of drizzle. Highs at 8 to 10C.

This rain slips east into the west of Wales and southwest England in the afternoon. Drizzle in eastern Scotland. Drier and rather cloudy for other areas. Sunny spells in parts of southeast England. Temperatures feeling cold at just 7C in eastern Scotland, 10 to 13C for other areas.
A front lying north to south through the UK on Tuesday. This brings cloud and rain in western England, western and southern Scotland and Wales. Murky and misty for many with hill fog. Eastern parts of England should be dry, as will be parts of eastern Scotland. Brighter in Ireland with sunny spells developing, the best in the west. A scattered of showers here. Cool in Scotland and northern England at 9 to 11C, milder in the south at 11 to 16C.
