Showery rain moves into northern Scotland, drier with some sun central-southern Scotland. Largely dry for Ireland with broken cloud and sun. Wind typically light. Highs 12 to 18C.
Monday night Rain over eastern England continues, slowly tending to ease from central areas. Rain affects northern Scotland. Local showery rain in the south and southwest of England. Mostly dry through Wales, northern England and Ireland, some cloud breaks. Mist patches forming in places. Light north to northwesterly breezes. Temperatures staying near 10C under the rain in the east, but falling to 5 to 7C or locally cooler in clearer north and western areas.
Tuesday Often dry across England and Wales with variable cloud and a little sun, best in eastern areas. One or two showers moving west to east during the day. Showery rain more frequent over Scotland, especially in the north. Occasional showers for Northern Ireland, drier further south across Ireland, but risk of rain moving in from the southwest by evening. Mostly light westerly winds, turning northerly for Scotland. Highs 12 to 17C, warmest in the south.
Wednesday Low pressure affects the whole British Isles on Wednesday. Centred over Wales and central England it will be bringing cloud and rain to many, some of the rain heavy. Wet too in eastern and southern Scotland and eastern Ireland. Brighter northwest Scotland and western Ireland. Windy in the south, risk of gales through the English Channel. Highs at 17C in southern England, but cooler elsewhere especially in rain, only 9 to 12C.
