UK Forecast - June 26, 2020
Wet and windy
Cooler

Saturday
Low pressure lies over Ireland on Saturday and it is forecast to sweep an associated front northeastwards across England, Wales and Ireland as well as Northern Ireland through the morning. Further north the remnants of the previous day's front and some low lying cloud should gradually clear the northeast coast through the morning to allow for drier conditions and possible sunny spells until rain pushes in later. Possible sunny spells across central Scotland before widespread rain affects much of Scotland through the afternoon and will continue to affect further south, although the far southeast looks to become drier. Staying largely wet elsewhere. Feeling relatively warm and muggy in the southeast of England as well as over central parts of Scotland with highs around 22C. Elsewhere, highs are expected to be around 16 to 20C.

Saturday Night
The rain is forecast to clear much of England overnight, although within that brisk westerly breeze showers are expected across western parts as well as across Wales. Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as Scotland look to remain cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain. Temperatures falling to around 12 to 15C. Slightly warmer in the southeast corner.

Sunday
On Sunday the low pressure centre will be over northern Scotland and will bring blustery outbreaks of showery rain to most places across the UK, these more widespread across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern parts of Ireland. It will be a breezy day once again. The far south could benefit from slightly drier conditions or lesser in the way of showers thanks to ridging high pressure which is situated over the Azores. Feeling chilly in the north and west within that brisk westerly wind with highs around 12 to 14C. The southeast fairing warmer with high around 21C.

Monday
The south is expected to stay largely dry due to high pressure nudging up into southern counties on Monday. Although, western areas will see showers push in on that blustery westerly wind. Further north and across Northern Ireland as well as northwest England, with low pressure still the main feature, do expect to see longer outbreaks rain, the rain heavy at times across Scotland. Breezy too across northern parts. Highs around 17 to 21C. Cooler in the northwest at 15C.
