Saturday
A cloudy wet day for Scotland with rain prolonged through the morning through western Isles, Highland to Aberdeenshire later into Dumfries and Galloway, later moving into N.Ireland through the afternoon and into the evening. Temperatures 6-8C with a fresh west to northwest wind, gales on windward westerly coasts and headlands. Northern England reamining cloudy with outbreaks of rain for Cumbria and Northumbria into Yorkshire temperatures 8 to 10C, slightly higher to lee of higher ground and with shelter. Remainder of England and Wales mainly dry with some sunshine for Shropshire to Oxfordshire, across Hampshire and eastwards to Kent, temperautures 8 to 10C breifly 12C further east to the lee of higher ground. Winds fresh west to northwest.


Saturday Night
Remaining cloudy with further outbreaks of rain for western and northeast Scotland, N.Ireland through to Cumbria, Cheshire and north Wales with a mx of outbreaks of rain and showers. Temperatures 8 to 10C and windy with a fresh west to northwest wind, locally gales in Highland and northern Isles of Shetland. Cloudy with rain and showers for Derbyshire and Yorkshire runnning into Lincolnshire and Norfolk temperatures 8C. For midlands to Devon and Cornwall, Hampshire to Kent maily dry with broken cloud temperatures 4 to 6C'


Sunday
Remaining generally mild especially for eastern England temperatures here briefly 12C during the afternoon with some sunshine. Remainder of England and south Wales dry with variable cloud and sunny spells temperatures generally 10C with a fresh west to northwest wind. For N.Ireland, most of Scotland and northwest England a mix of further outbreaks of rain and showers, colder here temperatures 4 to 6C. A mostly cloudy night fo rall with patchy rain mainly in western areas.


Monday
A generally cloudy day for most of England, Wales and Scotland including N.Ireland with a mix of rain and showers in western Scotland and N.Ireland, and across central Wales through the midlands to Yorkshire and Humberside into Norfolk, temperatures 12C with a fresh west to northwest wind. Colder for Scotland and northern England temperatures here 7 to 9C. Staying generally dry with sunny spells for southwest England, central south and southeast temperatures 10C locally 12C with shelter and to lee of higher ground. Rain and showers contining for northern Scotland overnight, showers of snow for Highland to Aberdeenshire, elsewhere mainly dry with broken cloud temperatures 1C in central Scotland to 6C central England.
