The day starts off with showers, turning heavy at times, across northern England and western Scotland. Largely dry with cloud building across Wales, southern England, and across Ireland, with one or two showers. As the day progresses, the showers in Scotland and northeast England will turn heavier, with the risk of thunderstorms. Scattered showers across England and Wales. Improving weather from the west, with some sunny spells. Feeling breezy for all. Highs of 18C in the south, and 16C in the north.

Overnight, a few remnants of the daytime showers across Scotland, but otherwise staying dry. Dry too across most of England and Wales. Showers, with some heavy bursts mixed in across southwest England. Persistent rain mixed with drizzle in southern Ireland, spreading north as the front moves through. Lows of 8C in the south, and 7C in the north.

A cloudy and damp start to the day on Tuesday, drier in Scotland and eastern England, and rain in the west. Rain and showers spreading eastwards as the day progresses, bringing on and off rain for all, with some heavy bursts mixed in. In between outbreaks of rain and showers, there will be some sunny spells. Feeling windier. Highs of 17C in the south and north, and slightly warmer, reaching 19C across Ireland.

Centre of low pressure over northern England on Wednesday, bringing an unsettled and showery day. Cloudy, with persistent rain and showers for all, turning heavy at times and with the risk of thunderstorms. In the late afternoon, some sunny spells from the west. Highs of 19C in the south, and 15C in the north.
