Unsettled & breezy initially
Drier Tuesday

Sunday
Low pressure centres itself over Scotland on Sunday. Once again slow moving and heavy showers will affect many parts of particularly central and southern Scotland into northern England and Northern Ireland. Further south expect a brisk westerly wind which will push showers west to east, some of these merging into longer spells of rain in places. Many areas though seeing dry periods with sunny spells. Highs 16 to 21C.


Sunday night
Cloudier skies with mist and murk along with spells of rain look to affect southwest England, possibly reaching far south Wales. Heavier rain also looking to affect central and southern Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern parts of England. Drier elsewhere with clear spells. Lows at 10 to 14C.
 


Monday
Rain will affect some central regions and southern parts of England including south Wales on Monday morning, gradually clearing from the west through the afternoon. The southeast though seeing spells of rain throughout much of the day where it will also be breezy. Heavier and slower moving spells of rain continue to affect parts of Scotland while pushing into Northern Ireland and then on to northwest England. Highs 16 to 22C.


Tuesday
A ridge of higher pressure on Tuesday brings largely dry, sunny and warmer weather, although showers cannot be ruled out along some eastern regions of England. Cloud building in the far west as fronts approach from the Atlantic. Highs 16 to 24C, warmest south and east.
