More rain arriving over northwest Scotland later in the night. Best of driest conditions over London and the southeast. Maximum temperatures at 8C in north, and 12C in south.
Thursday Night A cloudy evening with rain over northwest Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and southwest England this being heavy in places. This rain will spread east overnight to cover most places some some showers following for northwest Scotland, these wintry over high ground. Drier weather will arrive over Ireland in the early hours of Friday. Temperatures dropping to 3C over Ireland and Scotland due to clear spells, but 8-9C elsewhere as cloud and rain persist.
Friday Cloudy with outbreaks of rain in the morning in east this clearing up to midday. High pressure extending east through the day will give plenty of dry and bright conditions for all for most of the day with sunny spells developing. Thick cloud and strong winds will arrive in northwest Scotland in the evening along with outbreaks of rain, this possibly heavy over the Hebrides. Temperature in the afternoon at 6C in north but 9C in south.
Saturday A rather cloudy day for most on Saturday but with mostly dry conditions away from northwest Scotland. Outbreaks of rain over the northwest this possibly heavy over the Hebrides and Northwest Scotland, this becoming persistent later in the evening. A breezy day with maximum temperatures at 7C in north and 9C in south.
