A fair morning for most of England and Wales as well as southern Ireland. Spells of sunshine, best through central and eastern areas. Little changes into the afternoon with dry weather and more sunny spells. Some thicker cloud in Scotland with the risk of some drizzle in the northwest. Dry for Ireland with sunny spells, the best of them in the south. This afternoon sees the best sunshine again in southern and eastern parts of England. A few spots of drizzle in northern Scotland. Dry for all other areas. Highs at 21C in southeast England, 17 to 19C for most, a cool 12C in western Scotland.

Monday Night
Clear spells across southern England. Most of England and Wales as well as Ireland staying dry, although broken cloud in the north and west too. Some drizzle in western Scotland with low cloud and mist affecting the hills and coasts. More persistent rain in northwest Scotland. Remaining dry in the east and south although cloudy. Lows at 9 to 12C.
 

Tuesday
A southwesterly flow with high pressure off eastern England. Dry with sunny spells for most of England and Wales, best of them in the east and south. More cloud in northern and western areas, although some sunny spells here as well. Cloud for the northwest and west of Scotland as well as the coasts of western Ireland, these areas seeing some drizzle too. Rather murky over the coasts of western Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 24C i n southeast England, 14C in northwest Scotland, 17 to 20C for most.

Wednesday
Pressure remains high through much of the country, centred in more southern areas. There will be sunny spells and it should be dry across much of England and Wales. Cloudier in Scotland and Ireland with some drizzle and low cloud in the west. Temperatures at 25C in southeast England, 20C in southern Ireland and 14C in western Scotland.
