Warmest temperatures over central, south and eastern England, also southeast Wales 26 to 29C by afternoon. Further north and west, 18 to 22C, or just 14C western Scotland.

Fairly cloudy for Scotland and Ireland, a little patchy light rain in places. Breezy in the west, light winds for many. Some mist patches forming inland up to dawn. Staying mild or rather warm, 14 to 18C for much of England and east Wales. Cooler toward the north and west, Scotland and Ireland, lows 9 to 13C.
Tuesday A fine day overall with sunshine and variable hazy high-level cloud. Chance of a little rain in northwest Scotland, otherwise dry. Some mist patches near to coasts in the west. A little cloud bubbling up inland by afternoon. Light winds and some coastal sea breezes. Easterly breezes increasing later in the south. Feeling hot and quite humid in the south. Highs 26 to 30C for central and southeast England, 22 to 26C northern England and Wales, 22C eastern Scotland and Ireland, 17C in the west.
Wednesday A hot day with variable high cloud and sunshine. A risk of local showers forming over central and western England and Wales. Thunderstorms likely to form increasingly by the evening into the night, drifting slowly eastwards across England. Meanwhile, Scotland, Ireland and much of northern England should escape dry. Light and variable winds. Quite humid in the south. Highs 25 to 30C England and Wales, 19 to 23C Scotland and Ireland.
