Thursday It will be a rather cloudy but dry morning for most areas away from the far north Scotland. Through the day expect showers to develop, these mostly in west. A longer spell of rain will arrive over northern parts of Ireland and western parts of Scotland, this locally heavy later in the afternoon. Breezy with tops of 17-19C over most parts, and locally 20-22C in southeast.
Thursday Night Cloudy over Scotland and northern parts of Ireland with outbreaks of rain, possibly heavy over Scotland. Further south it will be drier but still rather cloudy. Most rain clearing overnight, with showers only over western parts. Temperatures dropping to 10-11C in north and west, but 14-15C elsewhere.
Friday Cloudy over England and Wales with some rain in the morning. Over Ireland and Scotland brighter with showers. Showers possibly turning heavy in the afternoon mostly over Scotland. Drier in the evening from the west. Tops of 16-18C, but up to 22C in southeast England.
Saturday A rather cloudy start for most areas with some heavy rain in places, especially over central and eastern parts. A ridge of high pressure is expected over Ireland with good weather conditions, these spreading east later in the afternoon and evening. Over western Ireland expect soon more cloud, strengthening winds and outbreaks of rain. Maximums of 16C in north, and 22C in south.
