Thursday Storm Agnes clears the far north of Scotland first thing on Thursday, though it will still be windy and blustery through the morning through Scotland into northern England as well as across Northern Ireland before winds ease. A dry and fair day for most, though the next frontal band of rain moves in to far western areas during the afternoon with winds strengthening again. Highs at 14 to 20C.
Thursday Night Overnight, a band of rain clears western areas through frequent showers then move in on to northwest Scotand. Patchy rain across central and southern England. Some blustery showers, otherwise dry. Lows at 8 to 15C.
Friday Friday sees a ridge of high pressure gradually build in over the British Isles. A rather cloudy and damp start across southern and southeastern areas of England before clearing here. Frequent and heavy showers on to northwest Scotland and the Northern Isles where it will be windy. A few scattered showers on to western coasts and hills, otherwise dry with sunny spells. Highs at 15 to 20C.
Saturday Starting off for most dry and fine yet cooler than of late on Saturday. Cloud will soon build with rain moving in from the southwest through the day with heavy rain affecting Northern Ireland, Wales, northwest England and southwest Scotland. Drier across central and southern England as well as northern Scotland. Highs at 15 to 20C.
