Snow showers for Scotland frequent and often heavy especially along and onto western coasts, later north and northeast, sunshine and scattered snow showers central and southern Scotland. Snow showers affecting Irish Sea coasts of Wales. Remainder of England mainly dry variable cloud and scattered snow showers through the day, temperatures briefly 2C early afternoon. Devon, Cornwall through to Hampshire and later Kent becoming cloudy during the morning with outbreaks of rain, preceeded by a period of sleet and snow will move from west to east clearing Kent through the evening. Winds will freshen from the east, temperatures 1 to 2C.

Wednesday Night
Showers continuing through the eveing and early night over coastal Scotland and N.Ireland. Cloud and any rain will also clear Kent the remainder of England and Wales early frost as skies become clear and wind light. Overnight frost will be widespread -4 to -6C.
 

Thursday
Overnight frost slow to clear through the morning for most of England and Wales, though dry and sunny temperatures briely 2C early afternoon with a frost through the evening. Snow showers and sunny spells continuing for Scotland, N.Ireland and northwest England and irish Sea coasts of Wales, temperatures here 1 to 3C though with a high windchill. Temperatures below 0C through the evening -4C generally for England and Wales, -8C Scotland and northern England especially where snow cover exists.

Friday
Frost slow to clear through the morning across England and Wales, a dry and sunny day with variable cloud temperatures 2 to 4C. Remaining cloudy for most across Scotland with outbreaks of mostly rain in the west at first later eastern areas, temperatires 0 to 4C with a freshening westerly wind.
