Thursday A low pressure system to the northwest of Scotland will give plenty of showers across northern and western Scotland as well as occasional showers over northwest England and a few over the northern counties of Northern Ireland. Central and southern England as well as Wales will start dry and bright, but it is possible for thick cloud to arrive over southern England later in the afternoon along with outbreaks of rain. Light to moderate breeze. Temperatures will rise up to around 9C in south, and 6C in north.
Thursday Night Showers in north will continue with a longer spell of rain over Northern Isles. Further south, northern. central England and Wales will see a mostly dry evening and night apart from a few showers in western coast. Some rain along with stronger wind is possible in the evening over southern England, but this will clear later in the night. Temperatures will drop to 3-4C across most parts.
Friday Friday will be a mostly bright day with sunny spells but with a few showers here and there too. Some heavier showers over the northwest Scotland, Northern Ireland running down to northwest England and north Wales. A longer spell of rain over Northern Isles in the morning, clearing later. Light winds for most, but moderate in northwest Scotland. Maximum temperature at around 6C in north, but up to 8C in south.
Saturday High pressure is gradually building in from the west through the day. A few remaining showers in east, otherwise it will be a dry and bright day with sunny spells. Best of the brightness over Wales and southwest England. Colder than of late in the evening and overnight, with frost expected overnight mostly away from coasts. Light winds, but moderate for a time in Southeast. Temperature at 5C in north and east, but up to 8C in south and west.
