Sunday Plenty of cloud this morning across much of England and Wales. Rain through the southern and western Midlands, eastern and southern Wales as well as southern England, some of it heavy in the southwest and close to southern coasts. Cloud over northeast England and eastern Scotland, but good spells of sunshine in western Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as parts of northwest England. This afternoon sees the rain continuing in southern Wales, central and southern England and East Anglia, a risk of local flooding where the rain is heavy. Drier northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, again with sunshine in the west. Highs at 22C in eastern England, 19C in western Scotland and Northern Ireland, 16C in southwest England and Wales.

Monday Low pressure across southern England on Monday. Rain for much of England and Wales, focused through the Midlands, eastern and southern England and Wales with little change through the day. Some of the rain may be heavy. Drier in northern England and Scotland as well as Ireland. Some showery rain in northern Scotland. Temperatures at a much cooler 13 to 17C for most but 19C in southeast England.
Tuesday Low pressure remains on Tuesday with an area of rain in Scotland and northern England. Probably fairly cloudy in the rest of England, Wales and Ireland with some showery bursts of rain. However, a few bright or sunny spells developing as the day progresses. Temperatures at 10C in Scotland, 19C in southern England but generally a cooler 15 to 17C.
