Sunday Rain this morning over much of the Midlands, East Anglia and southern England. This very slowly clearing towards the south east of the country. Most other areas will be dry, although rather cloudy, the best of any sunshine in eastern Scotland. This afternoon is mostly dry with any remaining rain clearing the Southeast. There will be some bright and sunny spells. Scattered showers over western coasts. Highs at a mild 10 to 14C.
Sunday Night Dry at first tonight with some clear spells, especially in the east. A band of showery rain reaching Ireland and western Scotland, moving steadily eastwards through the night to be reaching western Scotland, western England and Wales by daybreak. Lows near 4 to 7C.
Monday An area of showery rain passing from west to east through Monday morning. Brighter weather follows north and west with some good spells of sunshine and dry conditions. The showers then clearing eastern coasts early in the afternoon with most areas then dry. Good spells of sunshine for many. Increasing cloud in western Scotland later. Highs at 7 to 13C.
Tuesday Rain through northern England and southern Ireland as wel as parts of southern Scotland. Drier and cloudy for central and southern areas of England. Heavy showers in western Scotland, these heavy and prolonged for some. A few brighter spells in the east of Scotland. Lots of mist, low cloud and drizzle over western and southern areas of Wales and England. Highs at 9 to 13C.
