Outbreaks of rain this morning through northern England, the Midlands and Wales, this passing eastwards during the morning. Turning brighter in Scotland and Ireland although still some rain in the far west. The rain affecting East Anglia and southeast England on Sunday afternoon with heavy showers in western Scotland, Ireland and the west if England and Wales. Highs at 11 to 14C.


Sunday Night
Turning cooler tonight in Scotland, Ireland and northern England. Showers for many western and northern areas as rain and showers clear the southeast. An area of heavier showers in eastern Scotland, perhaps turning wintry on hills. Lows at 1 to 7C.

 
 
 


Monday
Rain and sleet in eastern Scotland, slipping into northern England on Monday. Snow affecting the hills of Scotland. Brighter west and south with sunny spells and feeling cold. Northern Scotland always at risk of sleet and snow showers, these showers affecting many eastern coasts and hills. Tending to be mostly dry and bright as well as cold in Ireland, a few showers along northern coasts and hills. Highs at 4C in northern Scotland, 9C in southern England.


Tuesday
A ridge of high pressure brings a widespread frost and some mist and fog patches on Tuesday morning. These lift to leave a fine start to the day, best sunshine in the north and east. Increased cloud and rain in Ireland in the afternoon, this reaching western parts of Scotland, Wales and England as the day progresses. Drier in the east although with increasing cloud. Highs at 3 to 7C for most.
