The rain more patchy in western and northern Scotland as well as western Ireland. Windy in eastern Scotland and northeast England with a risk of gales. Temperatures at 6C in northern Scotland, 15C in southeast England.
Low pressure drifts into the North Sea on Thursday. Occluded fronts wrapped around the low will be bringing cloud, rain and strong winds to much of eastern and southern Scotland and northeast England. Showers in England and Wales with some sunny spells, the showers heavy in northern and western Wales. Further heavy showers or longer spells of rain in Northern Ireland, but more scattered showers in southern Ireland. Tops near 7 to 13C.
